Terms of Service

The service

FreeQR provides QR code generation, dynamic QR redirects, hosted pages, file hosting and scan analytics. Static QR codes are free and unlimited. Every verified account receives one dynamic QR code free forever — it does not expire through inactivity and has no fixed scan limit. It may only be suspended for abuse, malware, phishing, legal requirements or deliberate platform misuse.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for content you create, upload or link through the service, and you must have the rights to use it.

Plans, billing & cancellation

Paid plans bill in Australian dollars via Stripe — monthly plans monthly and annual plans yearly — until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Billing; access continues to the end of the paid period. On downgrade your QR codes are never deleted: your Free Forever QR (the first dynamic QR you created, to which the free entitlement is permanently assigned) stays active and any subscription-backed QR codes pause until you upgrade again. The A$29 Lifetime Dynamic QR is a one-off purchase that remains active independent of any subscription.

Acceptable use

You must not use FreeQR for phishing, malware, deceptive redirects, illegal content or the other activities set out in our Acceptable Use Policy. We check destinations with security services and may suspend codes or accounts that put scanners at risk.

Service changes & liability

We work to keep redirects fast and reliable but the service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
