Payment QR Code Generator
Turn your existing Stripe, Square, PayPal or Shopify payment link into a QR code customers can scan and pay with. Pick the Payment tab above, choose your provider, and paste your link.
More
Paste the secure checkout or payment link from Stripe, Square, PayPal, Shopify or another provider. Prefer https links. FreeQR does not process your payment — customers pay securely through your payment provider.
The amount charged is controlled by your payment provider. Changing the display price above never changes what a customer is actually charged.
💡 Want to change the payment link later without reprinting this QR? Dynamic QR codes can be updated anytime.

What a Payment QR does
A Payment QR simply encodes the checkout or payment link you already have from your payment provider. When a customer scans it, their phone opens that page directly — the same secure checkout your provider already runs. FreeQR never sees card numbers, bank details or any payment credentials, and never processes the transaction itself.
It's built for market stalls, retail products, cafés, food stalls, events, service businesses, invoices and donations — anywhere a physical label or sign can carry a QR that leads straight to payment.
Static vs dynamic
A static Payment QR encodes your payment link directly — free, no account needed, but the link is fixed once you print it. A dynamic Payment QR instead encodes a permanent FreeQR short link that redirects to your payment page, so you can swap the destination later (a new checkout link, a different provider, a seasonal product) without reprinting the physical code. Your first dynamic QR is free forever.
FreeQR doesn't process your payment
Your payment provider — Stripe, Square, PayPal, Shopify or another service — handles the actual charge, card details, receipts and refunds. FreeQR only creates and manages the QR code and, for dynamic QRs, tracks scan analytics (never whether a payment succeeded).
Frequently asked questions
- Does FreeQR see my customers' card details?
- No. FreeQR only stores the public checkout link you paste in — never card numbers, bank details, CVVs or any payment credentials.
- Can I change the payment link after printing?
- With a static QR, no — the link is baked into the code. With a dynamic QR, yes: edit the destination anytime from My QR Codes and the printed code keeps working.
- Does changing the display price change what's charged?
- No. The product name, reference and display price you enter in FreeQR are descriptive only. The amount actually charged is controlled entirely by your payment provider's link.
- Which payment providers are supported?
- Stripe, Square, PayPal and Shopify links are auto-detected from the URL, and any other secure https payment link works too under "Other payment link".
